This past weekend I traveled to Chicago to go to a Notre Dame Game with my husband and his best friend. It was epic, as tailgating and watching a college football game often is.
But as I was packing for the trip I noticed that I was writing down a checklist of things to have for my flight. Of course, these items didn’t include the most important things that would actually get me ON the flight (ticket) and TO Chicago successfully (credit card and license), because for some reason that’s not where my mind goes to when writing a list of the things I HAVE to have on my flight.
For me, the most important things in my bag are items that help make the flight a healthy and occupied one. Here I am focusing on keeping it a “healthy” flight because I just need a good book and I am occupied for hours. Continue reading “My Must Haves When Flying”
I was driving home from a pure barre class this past Saturday morning, and I thought about my weekly workouts. I had just bought a new class pass to Pure Barre and was thinking about all of the different studios/gyms/workout classes I have memberships to that I use on a weekly basis.
It got me to thinking more about my overall workout routine, how drastically it has changed over the past couple of years, and how many different workouts I currently do, have done and tried.
Today I thought I would share a bit with you about the different types of workouts I do, and my overall philosophy around working out. Continue reading “4 Rules When Starting a Workout Routine”
I want to start by saying this is NOT an ad. I repeat. NOT an ad.
You’re probably thinking – no sh**t Sherlock people wouldn’t pay you to do ads… not yet at least ;). But in case you thought I was some super hip influencer who got offered free stuff to market, I certainly am NOT and do NOT.
I DO just like to talk about the things I learn about and do every day that helps me in hopes that after reading about it maybe it will help you too!
That is why today I wanted to dedicate this entire post to my Start Today Journal I got from the Hollis Co. Continue reading “This tool has totally changed my life…”
I was inspired to write this blog after seeing the ‘Avengers: Endgame’ movie. I am not a crazy, obsessive Marvel diehard, but I am definitely a fan. I think they are funny and cool and if there is a popular Marvel film out I am likely going to watch it. My all-time favorites are ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ 1 and 2. To me, they’re hilarious, light-hearted and have great endings, which is very important to me (otherwise I get pissed). Continue reading “Level Up Your Squad”
Health and Wellness is extremely important to me. It has been and always will be a top priority for me in my life.
At home I have (almost) perfected my healthy habits and created a healthy environment to live in. I clean my house weekly, workout daily, have a Britta pitcher always filled with water, buy lots of fruits and vegetables, keep my pre-packaged food to a minimum and do not buy things I don’t want myself to eat, not even for a “treat”.
Your environment and habits play a huge part in maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Believe it or not, it’s easy to make those changes at home. The question here today is how do we keep that up at work? The place that many of us spend more time than our actual homes. A place that you don’t own or have total control over. Continue reading “My Top 3 Healthy Work Habits”
I want to get real with everyone about this holiday hangover that we are all experiencing, but no one is talking about…The hangover that I conveniently forget about each year as I am dancing around like a fairy, talking about how much I love the holidays. Some of you may be thinking, “what the fudge is she talking about this time?!”… let me explain. Continue reading “The Holiday Hangover…”
