NEW BLOG!!! “The 3 C’s to Live By” . . . I recently started my 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training Program and last week we learned about “teaching fundamentals”. . . During that class we went over “The 3C’s” for teaching a yoga class. The 3 C’s are characteristics that you want to portray during your class. . . They are Clarity, Confidence, and Compassion. . . When my teaching was explaining them and giving examples for each, it hit me. . . These are not only the The 3C’s of teaching yoga, but the 3C’s to LIVE BY in your every day life! . . Blog of the week is out!!! “My Must Haves When Flying” 🛫 . . I recently went to Chicago and noticed that I have a “must have” list of things to pack for a flight. . . Of course these items don’t include the most important things that would actually get me ON the flight (the ticket🎟) and TO Chicago successfully (credit card 💳and license). Because for some reason that’s not where my mind goes to when writing a list of the things I HAVE to have on my flight. . . For me, the most important things in my bag are items that help make the flight a healthy and occupied one. . . This blog is focusing on how I keep it a “healthy” flight. 😊✈️ . . I talk about Mondays a lot because I have a love/hate relationship with them. . . I love them because I love new beginnings, and I hate them because the weekend is over and jumping back into work can be overwhelming. . . What I do to start my week on the right foot is instead of diving right into emails and work that I put off to Monday, I set an intention and plan. . . I figure out where I am today in my work or goals and then I think of where I want to get to by the end of the week. . . I set 2-3 goals I would like to accomplish this week that will bring me one step closer, and will move the needle forward even if it’s the slightest amount. . . This focused intention and goal setting at the beginning of the week has allowed me to hone in on what’s most important and get to work. Letting the other less important tasks wait for another day, and most importantly, not letting myself stress about it. . . This week, instead of getting anxious and overwhelmed over all of the things, just focus on three things. Three little tasks that will nudge you forward, move that needle the slightest bit. Because every step forward is a step forward, no matter how small. Overtime those small nudges or the littlest bit of progress will get you to that goal. . . It’s Monday, and you’ve got this. Focus on those three little goals that will bring you just one step forward, focus on the things you CAN do, and give yourself some grace. . . Happy Monday my friends.
